MEET DR. KRISTY LEE

Dr. Kristy Lee believes dentistry should feel personal, comfortable, and built on trust. Her approach combines advanced clinical expertise with genuine compassion, helping patients feel confident and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Lee moved to the United States at an early age and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry through the U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program. She proudly served as a dentist in the United States Air Force for five years, providing care at Bolling Air Force Base, Osan Air Base in South Korea, and the Pentagon. She also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, receiving advanced training in comprehensive and complex dental treatment.

Today, Dr. Lee is recognized for her commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. She has been honored as a Top Dentist by Bethesda Magazine 2024-2026 and Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Dentist in 2025 and 2026. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she regularly pursues advanced continuing education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry and bring the latest techniques, technology, and evidence-based care to her patients. What sets Dr. Lee apart is her belief that dentistry is about more than fixing teeth. She takes the time to understand each patient's goals, concerns, and overall health, creating personalized treatment plans that address the root cause of dental issues whenever possible. Whether helping a patient restore their smile, improve their oral health, or overcome dental anxiety, her focus is always on providing care that is thoughtful, honest, and tailored to the individual.

Outside the practice, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and their children, Noah and Audrey. She loves traveling, experiencing different cultures, and discovering new cuisines around the world. A lifelong learner by nature, she is always looking for opportunities to challenge herself and grow. Most recently, she has taken up tennis and enjoys spending time on the court developing her game. She is also passionate about fitness and weight training, finding that both help her maintain the energy, discipline, and balance she brings to her professional life. When she's not with family, patients, or pursuing a new interest, you'll often find her on her yoga mat unwinding after a busy day.

Dr. Wendy Musolf brings a unique perspective to patient care, having spent more than a decade as a dental hygienist before becoming a dentist. Her diverse clinical experience allows her to approach dentistry with a deep understanding of both preventive care and comprehensive treatment, helping patients achieve healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

Dr. Musolf earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Vermont School of Allied Health and practiced as a dental hygienist for twelve years before pursuing her lifelong goal of becoming a dentist. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She attended dental school through the United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program.

Following graduation, Dr. Musolf completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, receiving advanced training in comprehensive dental care. She later served at Onizuka Air Station in Mountain View, California, where she continued her commitment to serving others through dentistry.

Throughout her career, Dr. Musolf has been dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. Her background as both a hygienist and dentist gives her a unique appreciation for prevention, education, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed about their oral health.Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Musolf is the youngest of four sisters. Now retired from active practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new interests, and continuing her lifelong pursuit of learning. Whether reading, traveling, or discovering something new, her natural curiosity and love of education remain an important part of who she is.
